The origin of Long Jin tea is Zhejiang Province in China and best crop is only grown in the hilly area of Xifeng in Hangzhou. Few days before Ching Ming Festival (a seasonal timing in Lunar Calendar that indicates the arrival of early spring) in April, the farmers will pick the tender sprouts at dawn, skillfully panfry them in low-heated pans by hands, and have the product ready for market by noon. This agriculture activity can be seen all over Hangzhou until late spring every year.
