The upper half features a powdery, misty white glaze that evokes the morning mist in the mountains, while the lower half is coated in a blue-green glaze reminiscent of the clear waters of a mountain stream — a design that perfectly echoes the layered imagery of its name.  

Handcrafted using the soda-fired wood-kiln technique, this tea caddy bears the natural ash deposits from the open flame of the kiln, resulting in a one-of-a-kind textural surface with rich, layered depth.  

The form is sturdy yet rounded, offering a comfortable grip that sits gently in the hand without feeling heavy. The wide-mouth opening and tightly fitted lid are designed for optimal tea storage and aroma preservation. The lid knob is adorned with delicate pinkish speckles, adding a subtle and refined touch.  

The glaze transitions naturally from top to bottom: the upper section presents a misty white blended with soft pink kiln spots; the middle cascades into a translucent lake-blue; and the base settles into a deep, restrained ink-green. The soda glaze flows at high temperature, creating a natural gradient — every spot and every streak of glaze is an irreplaceable signature of the wood-fired kiln.  

The naturally flowing glaze blends misty pink-white with blue-green gradients, with scattered kiln spots that are unique gifts from the firing process — impossible to replicate.  

The short, rounded form is both stable and elegant. The lid fits snugly to lock in the tea’s fragrance, while the small knob features hand-painted pinkish markings for an extra touch of charm.
