FMT & Yixing Master Yang Xiufen's Handmade Purple Clay Teapot Collection - Four Auspiciousness

Yixing purple clay pottery is recognized as a Chinese intangible cultural heritage. As an outstanding traditional art of China, it features a rich and elegant language of form, a unique artistic style, and a captivating artistic charm, standing out at the pinnacle of ceramic art. Fook Ming Tong collaborated with Yixing craft artist Yang Xiufen and assistant craft artist Shen Jufang to create four types of purple clay teapots. The bottoms of the pots and the undersides of the lids are stamped with the seals of renowned masters and Fook Ming Tong, making them particularly valuable for collectors.

The square teapot represents the greatest challenge in making purple clay pots. Yang Xiufen has produced many famous square teapots, making her a leading figure in this area. This square teapot features Fook Ming Tong's Ruyi trademark as the lid's handle, symbolizing that all directions bring good fortune.
