Sourced from Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, this tea disc is crafted using traditional Pu'er processing techniques. It is made from sun-dried green tea (Maocha) produced from the fresh leaves of the Yunnan broad-leaf variety (Dayezhong). Through the wet-piling fermentation process (Wodui), and under the combined action of microorganisms and extracellular enzymes, the chemical constituents within the tea leaves are transformed. The tea is then compressed into its final form. It belongs to the category of post-fermented tea.
After more than 20 years of storage and aging, the tea presents a deep red, bright, and luminous liquor, with a rich and pronounced aged aroma. The taste is thick, mellow, and exceptionally smooth.
